what is literary sources?

  • Humans learnt to write about 5,000 years ago. They invented and put letters and symbols together to form words and sentences. They used various Types of scripts. Our knowledge of history is largely based on written records.Historians giva a special emphasis to written records. Historiands give a special emphasis to written records such as books and manuscripts, writings on rocks, pillars, parchment (skins of sheep and goats) bark of birch trees, palm leaves, clay tablets and stone walls. there are a range of literary sources available to historians to learn about the past. these include manuscripts, stories, religious texts, biographies and accounts of foreign travellers.

साहित्यिक स्रोत क्या है ?

  • मनुष्य ने लगभग 5,000 साल पहले लिखना सीखा। उन्होंने शब्दों और वाक्यों को बनाने के लिए अक्षरों और प्रतीकों का आविष्कार किया और एक साथ रखा। उन्होंने विभिन्न प्रकार की लिपियों का उपयोग किया। इतिहास का हमारा ज्ञान काफी हद तक लिखित अभिलेखों पर आधारित है। इतिहासकार लिखित अभिलेखों पर विशेष जोर देते हैं। इतिहासकार लिखित अभिलेखों जैसे किताबों और पांडुलिपियों, चट्टानों, स्तंभों, चर्मपत्र (भेड़ और बकरियों की खाल), बर्च के पेड़ों की छाल, ताड़ के पत्तों, मिट्टी की गोलियों और पत्थर की दीवारों पर एक विशेष जोर देते हैं। अतीत के बारे में जानने के लिए इतिहासकारों के पास कई साहित्यिक स्रोत उपलब्ध हैं। इनमें पांडुलिपियां, कहानियां, धार्मिक ग्रंथ, जीवनी और विदेशी यात्रियों के खाते शामिल हैं।
